I am a candidate for Oswego Township Highway Commissioner. I have the experience our community needs to navigate our Township through this next term.

First of all, my heart and soul is planted in Oswego and Boulder Hill as I have lived in both for the past 52 years and have many vested interests here.

 

As a youth, I attended Boulder Hill Elementary School and Oswego High School. I graduated in the class of 1981. I grew up watching the area grow. I remember the days that the only restaurants in town were Scotty’s, the Lark, Dari Hut, and Foxy’s Burger Bar. I remember when McDonalds was constructed in the middle of a corn field.

 

I also have many family members living in Boulder Hill and Oswego. My wife, Donna, and I have lived in the Wind Crest neighborhood for twenty plus years.

 

As a businessman, I have a successful Electrical Contracting business in Oswego, At times exceeding 12 million in sales per year, making me well versed in all facets of construction.  Our company is responsible for many employees and their families that live here in Boulder Hill and Oswego.

 

Another aspect to my investment in our community is that I own, operate, and maintain over 50 investment properties. I have the responsibility of making sure that our tenants and their families have a safe, clean, well maintained home to live in.

 

As your new Oswego Township Highway Commissioner I will continue to work to keep the roads in our Township safe for our families, tenants, friends and business patrons.  I do not want to put tax pressures on our families. As your Highway Commissioner I will oversee the expenditures and will continue to keep the Oswego Townships Budget under control. Additionally, when elected, I will attempt to find areas to reduce costs if possible without sacrificing safety.

 

So I’m asking for your vote on April 6. I have a vast experience in every aspect of contracting and property management. I already perform all of the administrative duties that the Highway Commissioner will need to perform daily.
